Creativity #2

June8

In the very beginning I wrote a posting on creativity. I think that posting is one of my favorite postings. I love it because I really let my opinions out. My opinions have not changed since the beginning of the year. I still believe that every thing in that posting has the same effect on me now.

---fbHello it’s Daddy’s Angel.First, I would like to point out that i do not have a phone yet. Yes I would love to have a phone. I think that teens are texting alot and sending a lot of unnecessary text messages. Alot of teen are texting for fun and I understand that, but what I don’t understand is how people my age can text 200 messages per day. I can understand 10 or 20 per day, but 200??? Don’t you think thats a lot??? Also I say that people who send pictures of them selves undressed are very inappropriate. Ya sending a cute picture of your dog is fine. Even I do that on my moms phone once and a while.

I don’t have a Twitter, a  Facebook or a Myspace. I will be soon, hopefully. I think that having a social network site is fine as long as you don’t give out any personal information.  But, you don’t need to do it 24/7!

This picture from flicker represents Amanda and Leo because they where best friends. http://www.flickr.com/photos/49024304@N00/4366652668/

Amanda and Leo are born on the same exact day in a small city. Ever since their first birthday they have spent every birthday together, even hosting joint birthday parties together. They are unsure why they have always felt the need to celebrate together but that’s just the way things have always been done. Before their 11th birthday, Leo and Amanda have had a falling out. Neither one will look at the other and for the first time in their lives they are celebrating their birthdays separately. When the time comes for their 11th birthday, the day seems just like any other birthday except that the two former friends aren’t sharing it together. But when Amanda falls asleep that evening after a terrible party, she awakens the next day only to find out that she is reliving her 11th birthday all over again.

Amanda and I do not have much in common. But we both don’t know how to do a back flip. However she doesn’t want to join cheer leading while I do.

I like Amanda at both the begging and end of the book. I think I like her better at the end of the book better that at the beginning of the book because at the end of the book she forgives Leo.

My Spring Break

April19

On Monday morning around 8 I woke up because my dad was shaking me and saying, “Wake up, get out of bed, get dressed, Clean!” So that is what I did. I got out of bed and I got dressed. I went down stairs and I was freezing, and so I put my jacket on.  I did all the dishes and the laundry with my sisters help. We also cleaned our room, we made our beds, we cleaned off our dresser and closet, and we cleaned the floor. My dad takes Ashley outside and closes the door behind him. He comes back with breakfast burgers  and then Ashley follows with another bag of breakfast burgers. I thought “We can’t eat all these.” There where 10 burgers. Then we heard a knock at the front door. Then we all went running toward the front door. I got there first and answered it it was gramma and papa. “Gramma, Papa “, we yelled. Then as we ate, another knock came upon the door. Once again we opened the door and it was Auntie Amanda and Uncle Luis. They came in and we talked while we all ate our breakfast burgers. Then we heard a car drive up and when we ran to see who it was it was the limo driver we got to ride in the limo. We gave the limo driver the last burger. My dad told the driver to take us to L.A.X. So he did. We go on to the plane finally after all the bag checking. While we were in the airport we met our Aunt, Uncle and 4 cousins who live in Orange County. We had a three hour ride plane trip and finally all 16 of us  in Cabo San Lucus, Mexico!!! First we went to Costco where we bought more than enough food. Then we went back to the hotel and put the food away.  Then it was around 7:00, we went out to dinner. We all had a great time at dinner and then we went back to the hotel and went to sleep. The next morning we ate breakfast and then went to the pool the pool was a lot of fun. Around 12:30 my dad and I went back to the hotel to make lunch we made sandwiches and we brought them back to the pool every one love them. Then we swam some more. For dinner we went to a free contest where they had free food and contests. When we were done we went down to the beach and took some pictures. After that we went to the hotel to get some sleep. The next morning we had some toast and then we went into town. In town there where lots of cute stores. While we were in town we learned we need to bargain. Some of the store people called us “el cheapo” it was really funny. In the end, we got the best deals, well most of the time. While we were in town we went to this colorful restaurant called Mi Casa. It was so cute. While we were eating our dinner a clown came over and made all the kids balloon animal hats. Then he made one for my gramma because it was her birthday. After that nice dinner we went back to the hotel and went to sleep.  In the morning we had some breakfast and went to the pool again. While were at the pool my aunt, uncle and I went down to the beach and played some football. When we were done my dad and I went back to the hotel and made hot dogs. Then we took them back to the pool everyone loved them. then we swam a little longer and we all went back to the room and had cheese burgers for dinner. Then we slept. The next day we, as in our family, the 5 of us stayed home. We were a little under the weather. We just were a little sick. we ordered room service all day. then at night we all slept good. It was the last day we enjoyed our last day at the pool. We had fried spaghetti  for lunch and we played lots of football. Then every one packed before bed and went to sleep. The next day we took the plane ride home. We all had a great time. I hope we will have another vacation like this. It was amazing.

SAVE WATER

March30

Hello this is daddysangel with an animoto. We all need to save water. I know I’m a little late World Water Day was Monday March 22, but you are never to late to help. You can help each day with little things you can do…

Here are some ways you can use water more efficiently. Share these tips with your family.

1. Wash Hands Efficiently

Turn off the water while you soap your hands, and rinse briefly.

2. Brush Teeth Wisely

Turn off the water while you brush your teeth and save 4 gallons a minute. That’s 200 gallons a week for a family of four.

3. Flush Only When Necessary

Put paper, insects, hair, and other such waste in a trash can rather than in the toilet.

4. Don’t Waste Drinking Water

Instead of running water to make it cold, keep a pitcher of water in the fridge.

5. Use Less Water for Dishes

Scrape your dishes clean to reduce rinsing. Run the dishwasher only when it’s full.

6. Take Half-Full Baths

Try bathing in a tub that’s only half full to save water and the energy used to heat it.

7. Shorten Your Showers

Shorter showers save both energy and water—keeping your shower under 5 minutes can save up to 1,000 gallons a month!

8. Stop Leaks

Turn off water faucets tightly so they don’t drip. Tell an adult about any leak you find indoors or outside.

9. Wash Clothes Wisely

Make sure your clothes are truly dirty before putting them into the hamper. Wash clothes only when you have a full load, and use cold water whenever possible.

10. Don’t Overwater

Remind adults to water the lawn only every 3 to 5 days in the summer and avoid watering driveways, sidewalks, and gutters.

Agoura Hills?

March23

I live in the universe. I live on Earth. I live in North America. I live in the USA. I live California. I live in Los Angeles. I live in Agoura Hills. I think of where I live I think Agoura Hills. But now I am really thinking that if I go some where and somebody asks me “Where are you from?” what would I answer. Would I answer  in planet, country, state, county, or city?? Depends???

Resolutions from: Tibby, Bridget, Carmen and Lena

January14

Hi, this is not daddy’s angel, today I will be subsututing daddy’s angel along with 3 of my best friends Bridget, Carmen, and Lena.

Before I start you might want to know who I am. Hi, I am Tibby Rollins today I am going to talk about my resolution for 2010.  If I could have 1 resolution for 2010 it would be to make a award winning movie. In The Second Summer of the Sisterhood I am in film class for college and the first move I direct does not come out the way I would have liked it to. When I have the pants with me I cant describe the feeling I have.

Hi this is Bridget, and if I had one resolution for 2010 it would be to go back to soccer camp next summer. I realize that I am a very good soccer player and I just need to give my self another chance. As long as I have the pant by my side I can do anything I want to.

Hi this is Carmen. My resolution is to become more immune to my parents meeting  new people. When ever my parents meet someone new I freak out and I panic. Then I notice that it is okay for my parent to meet new people. With our pants I feel amazing.

Lena Here,  and my resolution is to get closer to Greece with my grand parents and Kostos. I love Greece ever since I’ve been there. I love Kostos. With the pants with me I will succeed in anything!
